Justine F. Bratcher, 96, of
Harristown, IL passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.
A graveside service to honor Justine's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
Justine was born on January 22, 1927 in Soldier, KY, the daughter of Rev. James F. Carroll and Shirley Dalton Carroll Atteberry. She married Walter Bratcher on June 11, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1997. Justine retired from the York division of Borg-Warner after 30 years of service. She was a self-taught artist and exhibited in art shows for 19 years. She enjoyed music, golfing and reading. She travelled extensively in the United States and foreign countries.
Justine is survived by her granddaughter: Misty Bratcher-Parker of Tulsa, OK; 3 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; she is also survived by one nephew and several nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Michael Bratcher, daughter: Jackie Nottingham, one half-brother, two half-sisters, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
