Justine Lynn Morden

Justine Lynn Morden, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Rochester Hills on August 1, 2024, at the age of 27. Born on March 26, 1997, in Port Huron, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of Gregory Scott Morden and Jennifer Lenore Buckley. Justine's vibrant spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her.
Justine grew up in a loving family and was a source of joy from the very beginning. She was raised alongside her siblings, Abby and Brandon, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Justine's life was a testament to her dedication to her family.
She is survived by her parents, Gregory (Tammy Catanzaro) Morden of Fort Gratiot and Jennifer (Glenn) Buckley of Port Huron Township; siblings, Abby (Joe Deyonker) Morden of Shelby Township and Brandon (Judith) Morden of North Street; nieces and nephews, Braelynn, Ryan, Preston, Phoebe, and Oliver; aunts and uncles, Karen (Joe) Gates, Mark Morden, Nancy Pearson, and James (Patti) Buckley; special friend, Mark Azzo; her dog, Teddy, who she loved taking on walks and being with; as well as several cousins and other dear friends.
Justine's passion for helping others was evident in her pursuit of an Associate's degree in nursing. Her commitment to her profession was unwavering, and she was known for her drive and dedication to her patients. Justine was admired her for her bubbly personality, her intelligence, and her beautiful soul.
Her interests were as diverse as her personality. Justine loved to travel, exploring new places and cultures with an open heart and mind. She found peace and happiness in simple pleasures like walking on the beach, spending quality time with her family, and enjoying SXS rides-even when they resulted in getting stuck. Justine's creative side shone through in her painting sessions with her aunt.
Justine's life was a beautiful mosaic of the people she loved, the passions she pursued, and the lives she touched. Her presence was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her generous spirit, and her ability to make every moment count.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be part of her journey. Justine is survived by her loving family, including her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, her special friend, her beloved dog, and numerous cousins and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
As we say goodbye to Justine Lynn Morden, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, love, and an abundance of joy. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her spirit will continue to guide us. Justine's life was a reminder that every day is a gift, and she embraced each one with grace and enthusiasm.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial-Smith Chapel, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron, MI 48060. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. and Pastor Phil Whetstone of Colonial Woods Missionary Church will officiate.
