James (JW) Worcester, age 79 of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was born July 16, 1945 in Norwalk, OH to the late Don & Marion Worcester of Wakeman, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sophie; grandson, Chris and many other family members that passed before him.
He is survived by his wife, Kareen of 57 years; sons, Jason and Shaun (Gaby); grandchildren, Nick (Valencia), Ellie, Abbie, and Emilio; great-granddaughter, October and his siblings, Dean (Karen) Worcester and Cheryl (Don) Fannin.
JW was a man of God who is surely walking the streets of gold in heaven. (Revelation 21:21)
In his spare time, JW enjoyed, Square Dancing/Round Dancing, Karaoke, Biking, Reading, Music, Camping/Traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
He served for years as a volunteer with both Elizabeth’s New Life Center as well as The Gospel Mission. He also went on short term mission trips to both the Dominican Republic and the Philippines. He was a member of New Beginnings Christian Church in Enon, OH.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton OH 45424.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton OH 45424.
JW will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery, National Road (US 40) Brookville, OH.
The family invites everyone to dress casually.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to Elizabeth’s New Life Center, The Gospel Mission or a charity of your choice.
