Kaitlin Galbraith Covert

September 18 1988 - December 8, 2025

Kaitlin is remembered for her joy and light, her laughter and fun spirit. Her career has always centered on caring for others - especially those with mental and physical challenges - and she's always had a soft spot in her heart for animals of all kinds, especially the strays. She had deep affinity for kids and is known for singing songs with her best friends' children. Kaitlin passed away from complications from preexisting health conditions.

She is cherished and survived by her father, Brad Covert of Spokane Valley; her mother Brenda Rosler and "bonus dad" John Rosler of Clinton, Washington; her sister, Sydny Covert and fiance Easton Crossley of Liberty Lake; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her "Bahma" Phyllis Tidball, "PopPop" Scott Covert and "DeeDee" Dorothy Covert, as well as close family friend Bob Maughan.

The Covert family attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Otis Orchards where Kaitlin was confirmed in the faith. She graduated from Gonzaga Preparatory School where she played softball and played viola (first chair for three years!). She and her sister also participated in dance for many years.
