Kaleb David McCall, 17, of Sycamore, Ill., died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at Kishwaukee Hospital, DeKalb.
Born Nov. 24, 2005, in DeKalb, Kaleb was a senior at Sycamore High School and worked at the Sycamore Culver's restaurant. He enjoyed fishing, bonfires, biking and skateboarding, playing videogames and being with friends.
Kaleb is survived by his father and mother, Scott McCall and Heather Gerken of Sycamore; brother, Cameron McCall; grandmothers, Kelly Kangas and Sharon McCall; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his uncle, Michael Gerken; great-grandmother, Marjorie Kangas; and great-grandmother, Violet McCall.
Memorials can be made to the family via GoFundMe
Visitation will be held from 1-5 pm Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at Olson's Quiram Sycamore Chapel, 1245 Somonauk St., Sycamore, IL 60178. Cremation rites will be accorded after the visitation.
