Kaleb Christopher Seymour, beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend, passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 18. Born on November 27, 2007, in Port Arthur, Texas to Parents Sean Seymour Sr. & Elaine Johnson Seymour.
Kaleb was currently a senior at Nederland High School, where he shone socially, enjoying the company of friends and family. He was known for his intelligence and infectious laughter, often brightening the days of those around him. Kaleb had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures, always expressing gratitude by saying "thank you" for every kind gesture extended to him.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Kaleb harbored dreams of serving his country in the Military after graduation and pursuing a trade in welding like his father. He engaged in various hobbies, notably playing video games, reading manga, and listening to music, which provided him an expressive outlet and joy in his young life.
Kaleb is survived by his loving mother, Elaine Johnson Seymour of Port Arthur, Texas; his grandparents, Travis and Debby Seymour of Nederland, Texas; and his siblings: Sierra Seymour, Braeden Seymour, Sean Seymour Jr., Conner Seymour, Caiden Seymour, Austin Seabourne, and Liam Christopher. He is also survived by his niece, Claire Seabourne, as well as his uncles, David E. Johnson and Will Seymour (Melissa), aunts Amy Tunnell (Scott), Dana Seymour, and Heather Wallace (Kyle), and many cousins.
Kaleb was preceded in death by his father, Sean Michael Seymour Sr.; his grandparents, Gladys Johnson and Ed Johnson; and his uncle, Kevin Johnson. His memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial gathering will be held in honor of Kaleb on February 21, 2026, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas with a Memorial service at 4:00 P.M. The service will provide family and friends an opportunity to come together to remember the joyful spirit Kaleb embodied and the lasting impact he made in their lives.
