Kaleb Williams

Kaleb Josiah Williams "KJ" was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. From the very beginning, everyone knew "KJ "had the biggest heart, he was a blessing to his parents Nikita Hollis-Campbell (Jeonnie) and Donald Williams and a true gift to his siblings; Brooklyn, JaKobe, and Jrue. He brought endless joy to his grandparents, Geneva Harris which preceded him in death (Brian Sr. "Papa"), Georgina Williams (Charlie), Arthur Sutton (Janet), Donita Kirkland, Darnell Campbell (Tracey); aunts, Kiara Thomas (Ramont), Jhone Kirkland-Ellis and uncles, Brian Harris Jr. (Khalilah), Arthur Sutton Jr., Jucari Sutton, Desmond Williams, Darian Williams, James Campbell ll, Jason Campbell. He was nothing short of remarkable to his cousins.

"KJ" was very caring and loving and to those that knew him felt his light. Growing up he built deep relationships with everyone he encountered throughout Chicago. Kaleb attended Coretta Scott King Elementary Magnet School and Rich South High School where he played the position middle linebacker, he later transferred to Crete High School where he received his diploma. Growing up he was active in Taekwondo and received his yellow belt, he also played baseball, basketball and football for the Crete Bulldogs. He attended Lincoln Challenge Military Academy where he expressed interest in joining the Army Reserves.

"KJ" had other dreams to rap and pursue music he was able to get in the studio and go after his passion. He always said "I'm built FORD tough mama, I can do anything." Kaleb wasn't just about his own success; he wanted to be the one to bring his family together and make sure everyone rose to new heights. Even though he's is no longer with us, "KJ" has gathered us all together, it is now our job to honor his wishes and become the family he wanted strong, united, and full of love. "KJ" YOUR SPIRIT, LOVE AND ENERGY WILL LIVE ON FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.
