Kalyn Green Obituary

Visit the Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Belton website to view the full obituary.

Kalyn Louise Green, a cherished member of the Rogers community, left this world on November 25, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on June 2, 1963, in Cameron, Texas, Kalyn was not just a wife, mother, and grandmother, but a pillar of her community, known for her warmth and generosity.

Throughout her life, Kalyn was dedicated to her self-employed retail store, where her passion for helping others was evident. She was always the first to lend a hand, providing nourishment to those in need and comfort to those seeking support, friendship, and love. Her vibrant spirit shone through, and while life may have presented its hardships, Kalyn's heart remained open and ready to embrace everyone she encountered.

Her community will long remember her for her boundless kindness and the love she poured into every connection. Kalyn had a fondness for bright pinks, which reflected her joyful personality, and enjoyed gardening, Hallmark movies, and the delicate beauty of butterflies. The love and compassion she exuded will be deeply missed, leaving a void that many will feel in the days to come.

Kalyn is survived by her beloved husband, Butch Green of Rogers, Texas; her daughter, Tricia Maddux of Salado, Texas; her brother, Thomas Maddux of Temple, Texas; her sister, Frances "Ellen" Maddux of Belton, Texas; and her two cherished grandchildren, Jacob and Rowan Corbitt. She also leaves behind her nephew, Ramon Piedra Jr., and nieces Jessica Piedra and Amanda Piedra, along with other loved ones who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Kalyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Deanna Marie, and her brothers, Wilbur and Melvin Maddux. She is also reunited with her niece, Tasha Maddux, and her parents, Thomas Gene and Glenda Louise Maddux.

As we reflect on Kalyn's remarkable life and the deep impact she had on so many, we are reminded of the importance of community and family. Her legacy of generosity and love will inspire others to continue her work in aiding those around them. Kalyn Louise Green will always be remembered as a beacon of light in the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.

There could never be enough of a way to say thank you to someone who’s done so much for so many, but we as a community and family can help her beloved husband, daughter, son in law and grandchild during this difficult time by donating towards her final resting place and service. If anyone would like to make a donation towards Kalyn’s service cost and tomb stone please reach out to her daughter, Tricia Maddux-Corbitt. Donations can also be made directly to Rogers State Bank under the name "Tricia Maddux" or the Crotty Funeral Home.
