Kandice Desch, 52 year old Camargo resident, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025 in Woodward. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.
Kandice Renya Desch was born October 17, 1972 to Marty Jay Desch and Katheryn Marie (Bartlett) Myers in Topeka, Kansas. Kandice grew up in both Topeka, Kansas and Woodward, Oklahoma attending Quincy Elementary School, Woodward Jr High and Woodward High School. She later in life received her GED and started at Northwestern Oklahoma State University to be a Guidance Counselor. Kandice was united into marriage to Anthony Lee Garriott in April of 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Christmas Day of 2014, Kandice gave her life to Christ in Leedey at the Harvest Fellowship Church.
Kandice worked various jobs throughout her life. She worked as a waitress, daycare worker and in children's ministry. She often enjoyed crafting and arts, cooking and growing plants. She loved to help others, go shopping and being with her family.
Kandice is survived by her parents, Marty J. Desch, Kathy Myers and husband Ronald; her husband, Anthony Garriott; sons, Jacob Andrew Wales and wife Becca, Jaron Matthew Wales; one daughter, Kayla Wales and Richard Beck; her grandmother, Helen Bartlett; mother in law, Debbie Garriott; five brothers, Jason Matthew Desch and Jessica Dixon, Jason Myers and Shelly, John Myers, Jack Myers and Clint Myers; three sisters, Kelly Myers, Megan Hendricks and husband Mike, Stormy Stephens; four grandchildren, Kaitlynn Wales, Leah, Jryson and Jermany Wales; aunts and uncles, Kayron St. Clair, Carolyn Lacey and husband John, Marilyn Noonan, Mary Beth Freerksen and husband John and Ron Bartlett and wife Dawn all of Kansas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by Curtis Bartlett, Jake and Doris Desch, Jr., Warren and Alta Myers, Floyd and Myrtle Bartlett, Loid and Buella Brown, Jake and Irene Desch, Sr., Ruby Williamson, Jacoby St. Clair and Leanna Desch.
