I first met Kandra attending Nativity Church. We both sang in the youth choir. She was one of the sweetest people I ever met. We reconnected in high school. She was heavily on my mind for sometime now. We never forget how people we come across have an impact on you. Kandra was a genuine friend and person. Sending prayers and love to all her family and friends

We lost one of our brightest stars. The number of lives you touched as you made teachers across the country better and in turn their childrens´ successes more likely are too numerous to count. I will miss your wit, your sarcasm, your multiple talents and those shoes that always made me smile. To work with you was a joy and to be friends was a blessing.

Kandra....This is still hard to deal with. I´m gonna miss you Lovie . You fought long and hard and you did it full of grace, love and hope. Rest now sweet friend. You have done your God given tasks. I will continue to pray for you and your sweet Mom. I´ll keep you in my heart forever. Love Karen.
