Kanedra Monique White, affectionately known and loved by many, was born on January 17, 1991, in
Forrest City, Arkansas, to Tracey Walker and the late Owen Sisk.
She was lovingly raised by her devoted adoptive parents, Dorothy Mae "Jean" White and the late Isiah White, who instilled in her strong values, faith, and love for family.
Kanedra received her education in the Forrest City School District, where she completed her schooling and built lifelong friendships. At an early age, she was raised in the Day Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Curtis Rolfe, where her parents faithfully ensured she attended and learned the ways of the Lord. Growing up in the church helped shape her spirit and her love for people. Kanedra was known as a hardworking woman who believed in providing for her family. While living in
Forrest City, Arkansas, she was employed at Core-Mark. After relocating to Texas, she continued her career, working for the United States Postal Service and later with FedEx, where she was respected by coworkers for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Kanedra was preceded in death by her father, Owen Sisk; her adoptive father, Isiah White; her beloved son, who tragically passed away with her; and four sisters, Ruthie Lucas, Shirley McKinney, Bobby Blunt, and Marilyn Johnson-Jones.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving mother, Dorothy Mae "Jean" White of
Forrest City, Arkansas; her birth mother, Tracey Walker Funches of Sheridan, Arkansas; and her loving companion of many years, Stanley Ezeagwu of Texas. She also leaves her beloved children: Ada Stephanie Ezeagwu, Amarie Chioma Ezeagwu, and Akilah Okika Ezeagwu, all of Texas. Baby Ayden Emeka Ezeagwu was born on March 1, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, to his loving parents, Stanley Ezeagwu and Kanedra Monique White.
Though his time on earth was brief, Ayden's life was filled with love and joy. His bright smile, gentle spirit, and innocent presence brought happiness to all who were blessed to know and care for him.
Ayden peacefully departed this life on March 2, 2026, alongside his beloved mother, leaving behind memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Kanedra Monique White; and his grandfathers, Owen Sisk, Isiah White, and Frank Ezeagwu.
Ayden leaves to cherish his precious memory his devoted father, Stanley Ezeagwu; his loving sisters, Ada Stephanie Ezeagwu, Amarie Chioma Ezeagwu, and Akilah Okika Ezeagwu, all of Texas; and his loving grandmothers, Dorothy Mae "Jean" White of
Forrest City, Arkansas, Cordelia Ezeagwu of Nigeria, Africa, and Tracey Walker Funches of Sheridan, Arkansas.
He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will forever treasure the short but meaningful time they were blessed to share with him.
Though his days were few, Ayden's life was a precious gift from God. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. As the Scripture reminds us in Matthew 19:14, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
