Kanye Rodriquez-Hurst

Kanye Ian Rodriquez-Hurst, age 21, of Nekoosa, WI passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Services will be at 12:00 P.M. on Monday December 8, 2025 at the Chahk Ha Chee Community Building in Nekoosa. John Dick will officiate. Burial will be at Dexterville Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friends will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the community building.

Kanye was born June 23, 2004 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He grew up in Nekoosa and graduated from the Nekoosa Academy in 2022. He worked at Culvers Restaurant in Wisconsin Rapids and most recently at Ho-Chunk Gaming Nekoosa.

While growing up, Kanye was very athletic and enjoyed going to the gym and playing basketball and football. He also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and sledding. He loved spending time with his family, talking, playing video games, listening to music, smoking, and anything to do with Spiderman.

Kanye is survived by his mom Heather (Alex) Arriaga; sisters: Aaliyah (Noah), Tot "Marshawn", Arri, and Jen; brothers: Onzo, Ali, Kai, Xavier, and the Thompson boys; Gagas and Chokas: Becky Rodriquez (Jorge), Vonetta Brown, Vince (Jen) Cadotte, and Helene (Steve) Bean; Tegas: Tim and Brandon Banuelos; Nani Sierra; niece Athena "Tiny"; paternal grandparents Leonard (Linda) Hurst; and many other Nanis, Tegas, special relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his big Gaga, Joann Thompson; Tega Ian Banuelos; niece Sienna Banuelos; Gaga Vanessa Wagner; and cousin Romello Dawson.
