Kara Michelle Jones-Elliott, a loving mother, dedicated homemaker, and devoted business owner, departed this life on November 20, 2025, at the age of 46. Born on December 29, 1978, Kara was known for her nurturing spirit and her deep commitment to her family and faith.
Kara's legacy is defined by her profound love for her two children, Kason Jace Elliott and Lydia Bell Elliott, whom she cherished above all else. Her proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children, whom she nurtured with unwavering support and guidance.
Kara was survived by her husband Timothy Elliott; she was also a beloved sister to Dana Brooks, creating a bond that echoed through the joy of shared experiences and cherished memories.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Thelmer Chambers; her father, Paul David Jones; her stepfather, Brett McCool; her mother, Linda McCool; and her in-laws, Ron Elliott and Linda Elliott.
A member of Encounter Church, Kara found solace in her faith and derived immense joy from listening to praise and worship music. Her passion for spending time with her children was reflected in their cherished trips to the beach, where laughter and joy were always shared.
Her visitation will take place on November 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, both held at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Sam Brooks, Zach Stewart, Dalton Brown, Triston Dickinson, Sean Bollmeyer, Gavin Paholke, and Brad Howard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Goines, Andy Goines, Danny Hill, Alex Loy, John Elliott, Dr. Chen, and The Genesis Cancer Center.
