Karen Zador Berretta

I was so sad to learn of Karen's untimely passing. We met 60 years ago when we both moved to Bellmawr from South Philly. We attended school together all through to high school. Karen's family lived nearby and I spent countless hours at their home. I loved being with all of them as they were such a lovely family. I came to know the entire family who lived in the 3 side-by-side houses. I will always cherish the time I spent there. Karen and I shared so many memories together! From our time at elementary school to our dating years and all the things that teenagers experience. We were always there for each other, in good times and sad times. Even though we have lived far apart for many years, we have always kept in touch. Our Birthdays were only a week apart and we always remembered the other's special day right up until this past March. Karen was a very special friend and I will always remember her. Rest in peace my dear friend. Now you are reunited with your parents, your Brother, Larry and all the family members who went before you. With love, Marie Schiavo McFadden
