I was so saddened to hear of this today. I had the great pleasure and priviledge to know Karen through being one of her aides and proud to call her my friend. We shared many laughs together. I will miss her terribly and can't wait to see her again in Heaven. Keep a place ready for me Karen.

I had the pleasure of working with Karen through the ministry, YouthWorksOhio. She was a very kind-hearted woman and was always very sweet and thankful for the help we provided. I am grateful that I got the chance to work with her, and to have gotten the chance to know her on a personal level. Prayers go out to all of her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

John 14 King James Version (KJV)

14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Karen I'll see you at the House

Karen "Lucky" was so much fun. So sad that there were many years that we were apart. But we just picked up our relationship again last year. Too bad we lived too far apart to play pranks and goof off together. COSI and Geneva Hills will always be our special places Lucky, and you will always be in my heart. Love ya.

I went through junior and senior high with Karen. We were best friends. We'd talk on the phone for hours, and then giggle at school about what we said! We lost touch a few years after graduation, and regained contact a few years ago - like no time in between. But that was Karen. Easy to talk to, loving, caring, and always ready to lend a hand, or an ear, or a shoulder. I will miss you Karen! I hope to see you again someday, and make you laugh! Rest well, my friend.
