Karen Bingenheimer Obituary
A graduate of Rex Putnam High School in 1970, Karen went on to have various roles in the medical and insurance industries. Her outgoing personality, quick wit, and generous spirit endeared her to many. A devoted daughter, Karen lovingly cared for her parents as they aged. Karen loved animals and found joy in playing card games, spending time with her family, and visiting the Oregon beach with her beloved dogs when she was physically able. However, her greatest joy came from being a grandma to her grandson, Logan.
Karen will be greatly missed by her daughter, Jennifer Schwartz, and her grandson, Logan Schwartz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Virginia Schwartz. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

My heartfelt condolences to Jennifer & Logan. I worked with your mom at Willamette Falls Hosp years ago. I Lived in the same neighborhood. I would visit each other in her home. After she moved we kept in touch & always planned to get together but it seemed to never work out. We were faithful to send each other a card now & then & esp at Christmas. I wondered why I didn't get a Christmas card last year but i was overwhelmed caring for my elderly Mom & disabled brother so didn't regrettablly reach out. Your Mom, grandma was always sharing how she loved you Jennifer & Logan. She will be missed. Pat Payne

Dear Karen,
I am so sad to read this. It brought back so many wonderful memories of friendship from grade school and high school. Your face in the photo is so you, always smiling and cheerful. Your family has done you proud by expressing your true self...friendly, kind, considerate. It has been years since we were last together, yet it seems like just yesterday. Yes, I knew you from school, but you were more than just a classmate; you were a friend.
Your beautiful spirit will live on; rest in peace, my friend.
