Karen M. Borkowski

Borkowski, Karen M. nee Surridge age 73 of East Troy passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Karen was a lifetime member of East Troy and chose to raise her family there. She loved crocheting, crafting, gardening especially her flowers, and spending time with her family. Family always came first for Karen. She was a devote catholic and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Karen in her children's early years was a homemaker. She made all of their clothes. As time went on she went back to college and became an RN and worked at Waukesha Memorial hospital. Karen is survived by her children David(Sharyl), Sarah(Chris), Andy, and Laura. Her grandchildren Christopher, Branden, Nicholas, and Sophia. A sister Connie Greeson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Estelle Surridge, her beloved husband Ken Borkowski and a brother-in-law. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 12, 2025 at St Peter's Catholic Church with an 11am starting time and a burial to follow after the Mass at Oakridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are greatly appreciated as a donation will be made to one of Karen's favorite charities. Legacy Funeral Services has the honor of serving the family.
