Karen Buchko, 67, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at home.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a long-time resident of Lawrenceville. Karen was a Patient Quality Manager of Capital Health, where she was a registered nurse for 46 years.
Daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth Buchko, sister of the late David Buchko; she is survived by her sisters Sharon Buchko, Diane Damiano and Linda Long.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25th at 11:00AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., NJ.
The visitation for Karen will be held on Friday, July 25th from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Karen's memory to The Capital Health Foundation.

I was so saddened to hear of the untimely death of Karen. I worked with Karen at Capital Health while she was the Quality Manager. She was always such a kind, soft spoken, level-headed person. Very sweet and fair to all levels of staff. Please accept my deep condolences for a person who was taken much too soon.

I met Karen in 1985. She was a dedicated, loyal and compassionate nurse.
She set an example for many. We worked many nights together in the CCU and I have fond memories of those days.
My condolences to her family and her Capital Health family.

I have know Karen for over 45 Years at Capital Health as a fellow nurse! She was such a beautiful and caring person and a phenomenal nurse and friend! She will be so missed by her Capital Health Family! Rest In Peace Karen! With my deepest condolences to her entire family!
