Karen R. Chwojdak

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Karen R. Chwojdak, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother. After 48 years of love and partnership, she leaves behind her loving husband, Gary, whose life was enriched by her unwavering support and affection.

Karen's spirit lives on in the hearts of her two wonderful daughters, Jill (Michael) Dumke and Jessica (Kyle) Smith, who remember her not only as their mother but as their greatest champion. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandsons, Walker and Maverick, who brought her boundless joy and laughter.

She was also a dear sister to David Toporczyk (Julie Lisy) and will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, each of whom carry their own memories of her kindness and warmth.

Family and friends are invited to honor Karen’s memory on Friday, December 5, from 4-8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY 14043. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Parish, located at 950 Losson Rd. Cheektowaga.  We invite everyone to assemble at the church to celebrate the beautiful life Karen lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made in Karen's memory to the Roswell Park Alliance, an organization she felt passionately about.

Karen touched the lives of many and will be sincerely missed. Let us gather to remember her vibrant spirit, the love she shared, and the cherished moments that will forever remain in our hearts.
