Karen Wallace Henderson

Beech Island, SC – Funeral Services for Karen Wallace Henderson, 73, who entered into rest November 11, 2025, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel, Dr. E. Finley Limehouse officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5 until 7.
Mrs. Henderson was born on May 2, 1952, in Elkton, Maryland to the late Carlton and Margaret Wallace. She retired from a career as a Field Procurement Engineer at the Savannah River Site after 30 years of service. Mrs. Henderson was a longtime member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed travelling, especially taking cruises with her husband. Mrs. Henderson was known for her homemade spaghetti sauce which her entire family enjoyed. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carlton Wallace.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Leon Henderson; daughters, Amy Heath (Brian) and Jennifer Henderson; grandchildren, Katelynn Henry (Austin), Brittany Brant (Dylan) and Hayden Ott; sister, Joan Northam (Bruce).
Pallbearers will be Brian Heath, Dylan Brant, Austin Henry, Chris Shetzler, Covey Shetzler and Scott Benson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Beech Island Fire Department.
