Mrs Karen Taggart Koerner

Two years since Karen´s passing have not diminished our sense of
loss. Her spirit lives on in all who knew her.

My college roommate from Ottawa, IL introduced me to Karen in the mid-60s. When I enlisted in the Navy, we lost touch for decades. My college roommate passed away 9 years ago. Karen left a condolences message in his obit. Now knowing her married name, I found Karen on the Internet, emailed her and we were email pals, sharing political views and jokes until the time of her passing. I´ve never known anyone like Karen with the determination to beat every health obstacle she faced. I´ve lost a dear friend and email buddy. My sincere condolences to Fred and family. RIP Karen

To the Koerner family: My wife and I met Karen and Fred when they were in Connecticut. Fred and I worked together in New Rochelle. Later our consulting companies were affiliated and we met up with Fred and Karen a number of times over the years at industry conferences. We were house guests at their isle of Palms home, and they visited us here in Idaho. Karen was always an interesting and very gracious host, and we enjoyed the time we spent with her and Fred. I know the last few years have been difficult. We send our best thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I have a lot of fond memories coming to visit with Tracey. (My BFF from college). Karen and Fred always made me fill like family in those trips. So sorry for your loss. Many Hugs and kisses.❤

I am so saddened by Karen´s passing. I have been styling Karen´s hair for many years now. All of us at Stella Nova will miss her greatly. RIP Karen

To the Koerner family,

Karen was a strong, brave woman and who was not afraid of anything. Smart and opionated, she always could hold her own with whoever came by. A loving mom, grandmother, and wife, Karen will be missed.
