Karen Konkoli, age 69, passed away on November 16, 2025. She was born on August 6, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her loving parents, the late Edmond Kozlowski and Mildred Rochek. Beloved fiancée of James Bowers. Devoted mother of Kelly Konkoli Craddock (Earl) and Katherine Konkoli, and cherished stepmother of Jennifer Bowers, Jaimee Bowers, and Jimmy Bowers. Treasured grandmother of Sonia Alyce, Cierra Isis, Kevin Daniel, Keaton Allen, Alex, Emma, and Hannah, and proud great-grandmother of Astrid Esme, Corey James, Abigail, Miriam, and Eleanor. Dear sister of Bonita Jean Simko and Ronald Kozlowski.
Karen was a hardworking and dedicated mother who devoted her life to her spouse, children, and grandchildren. She spent 30 years serving others in the hospital system as a dietician before retiring. To those who knew her best, she was a “hardcore good time Charlie” with a sharp wit, a big heart, and a personality that made everyone feel loved and welcomed. She will be deeply missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
