Karen Ann Lambert, 68, of Hope Mills, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Karen was born and raised in Flushing, Michigan, and graduated from Flushing High School in 1975, then attended Michigan State University studying horticulture. Karen married David May 1,1979 they later made their home in North Carolina in 1994, where she built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Joan Stokes; father in law, Richard Lambert, Sr.; and brother in law, Richard Lambert, Jr.
She is survived by her devoted husband, David Lambert; daughters, Amber Blackwell and husband Rickey and Sharon Lambert; her beloved grandsons Korey Lambert and wife Taylor, Nathan Pah, Dustin Blackwell, and Grayson Arnett, all of Hope Mills NC, who were the absolute light of her life. She is also survived by her sisters, Dawn Herron, Laurie Stuart and Paula Dolak-Stokes, all of Flint MI; her mother in law, Elsie Lambert; sister in law, Ann Drabek and husband Eric; and brother in law, Robert Lambert.
Karen’s greatest joy was being a wife, mom, and grandma. She loved baking cookies with her grandsons, cheering them on at every game, and making sure her family always felt her love and support. Karen enjoyed the mountains changing colors in the fall, collecting tea pots, camping, and the beach. Karen’s love for her family was unwavering. Through every challenge and every joy, she stood as a pillar of strength, kindness, and devotion. Her heart was a place of warmth that made everyone around her feel safe and deeply loved. Karen's spread her warmth, kindness, and laughter to everyone she knew. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A viewing will be held from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., with a service immediately following at 1:30 p.m. on October 29, 2025 at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services in Hope Mills, NC with burial immediately following at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Karen’s life and honor her beautiful spirit.
Flowers are welcome and may be sent to Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services in Hope Mills NC in honor of Karen Lambert.
