Karen Little Breunig Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 12, 2025.
Karen Edith Little Breunig, born during WWII to parents Herbert Randolph Little & Edith May Hayes. Karen met her husband to be through an introduction by her uncle who owned a candy shop. She married and had three daughters before divorcing and moving to Boynton Beach, Florida to be close to her brother.
Karen suffered from a mental disorder her whole life, which confounded her family in their efforts to understand her. Despite her challenges, she never held any malice in her heart & was very child-like in nature.
Karen loved butterflies & filled her home with them - drawings, paintings, magnets, ornaments, dishes, etc. Since the butterfly is a symbol of freedom & new life, we believe she was drawn to them because that is what her soul so desperately wanted: freedom from her mental challenges & new life in wholeness. It is her family's hope that she has found that now in Jesus.
