In loving memory of Karen Yvette Martin (Miller)
August 31, 1968 - November 19, 2025
With very heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Karen. She passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved her most on the night of November 19, 2025.
Karen was a friend to all who knew her, someone to confide in, share a laugh with or have a shoulder to cry on. As a mother she always found a way to make each of us feel loved and supported. She had the most amazing ability to make every day feel special, whether it be giving handmade gifts, making every holiday magical or telling the most enchanting bedtime stories.
Some of her fondest memories were taking vacations with her loving Fiancé and best friend Jeff, spending time with her children, grandchildren and her little dog Nilla, and spending time in nature watching her hummingbirds.
Karen is preceded in death by her mother Jean Hughes, her father Joe Howard, and her brother Joseph (Joey) Howard. We find comfort in knowing she has rejoined them in heaven where they will all watch over us together.
Karen leaves behind her wonderful siblings: Sharon Ellis (Jay), Tammy Howard, William Miller, Michael Howard, and Julie Sanderson. Her memory lives on through her loving children: Kayla Marie Dubois, Charlie Kenneth Dubois IV (Andrea), Kerianna Nichole Bolton (Brandon), Christa Rose Pearl Martin (Poochie and Bug), Megan Lee Fowler (Justin) and Hailey Rose Matheny, along with her 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held at West Harpeth funeral home at a later time. For details contact Keri Bolton (678)590-6334. In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to support her services at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
