Karen Masters, 63, of New London, Ohio died on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in her home, following a brief illness. She was born on March 2, 1961, in New London, the daughter of the late Howard "Rock" and Irene (Parsons) Williams.
She was a lifelong resident of New London and a former employee of Kent Sporting Goods. A true matriarch of her family; she was the glue that bonded them together. She loved planning and hosting family dinners and holiday celebrations. Although she is gone from her family's sight, she remains close in their heart and has been reunited with her parents in heaven. When she was not with family, Karen enjoyed playing video games on the computer.
Karen is survived by her children, Dwayne Williams of New London and Natasha Masters of New London, NC; grandchildren, Dakota, Jenessa, Kaydence, Athena, Aaron, Tre and Lydia; great-grandchildren; Declan and Cohen; sisters, Linda Whitaker of Greenwich, Sharon (Benjamin) Jeffreys of Willard and Lisa (Ryan) Devore of New London; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her son Aaron Williams, brother, Silas Wayne Williams and brother-in-law Pard Whitaker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 3-6 p.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, New London, Ohio; where her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Day Cemetery, New London.
