Karen J. Orand

Karen Joyce Orand, 71, of rural Edna, passed away the afternoon of Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her home.
For over 30 years, Karen worked at the Walmart in Coffeyville
She attended the Crossroad Community Church in Jennings, Oklahoma.
Karen's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved taking trips to Chicago to visit family. Her dogs were appreciated and loyal companions. Bunco was a favorite pastime.
Survivors include:
One daughter – Cynthia L. Shelton and her husband, Brian, of Edna, Kansas
One son – Christopher Packard and his girlfriend, Bailey, of Afton, Oklahoma
Four grandchildren – Tyler Rosenquist and his wife, Lindsey; Jaeden Rosenquist and her fiancé, Ryan McCully; Karstan Packard; and Bryson Shelton
Three great-grandchildren – Rhett Rosenquist, Bexley Shelton, and Riggin Shelton
One sister – Diane Henry of Jolliet, Illinois
Numerous nieces and nephews of Chicago, Illinois area suburbs
Longtime companion – Richard Moore
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dennis Orand; one infant son, Michael John Packard; two brothers, Art Wehrman and Kenny Wehrman (her twin).
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
