My parents loved your mom like a 3rd daughter! And I loved her like a older sister. She never missed a chance to visit with my mom and dad and her presence at our parties was always memorable!! She was the most thoughtful, generous, loving person from the old neighborhood! I'll miss her dearly, but i know she's with my parents now, sneaking a cocktail and sharing some good gossip! RIP Karen!

Your mom was one of the best! I always loved going to the garage sales that she had on Saturdays, her little poodle, Hooper who used to play with our lab Sandy. I'd like to believe that she is hanging out with my parents in heaven cracking jokes and having a great time. And more garage sales! I'm so sorry for your loss Liz and Tami. Darice

Karen was a dear friend and long time neighbor...a unique lady with a great sense of humor. We kept in touch long after I left Deerfield, but as time went on, it was less and less.
One special thing I particularly loved was the mannequin just outside her front door, whose outfits changed with the weather, holiday or whatever. Liz and Tami and all your families, please accept my deepest condolences and cherish the memories.

My beautiful Stepmother was all my Sisters expressed above
She was a remarkably talented woman who loved life and lived it in her unique way.
She made our childhood fun and I attribute my love of the holidays and decorating directly to all she did to make our holidays the best of times. What wonderful memories!!
Her seamstress skills were beyond anyone I have known. As all parents do at some time, the embarrassment of her artistic abilities after she painted her car like a caterpillar, are etched in my memory. She did what made her happy and she didn´t worry much about what others had to say. That is a quality few of us have.
Karen Lohr Puckett touched my life deeply as the only Mother I really ever had. I feel very blessed that I was able to see her, one last time, in October 2024. We both loved each other very much. Thank you Karen for all you did for me. I love you deeply

Mrs. Puckett was like a second mother and I´m forever grateful for her unconditional love. How lucky to have shared time on earth with her as her spirit moves on.
Love,
