Karen Louise Reeves, age 54, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 in Tye, Texas.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Emmanuel Fellowship Church with Pastor Loran Rule officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Karen was born on May 13, 1971 in Sweetwater, Texas to Jimmy Lee Bailey and Belinda (Bilbrey) McCartney. She married Adam Reeves on November 12, 2002 in Sweetwater, Texas. She worked as an office manager and was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her fur babies, plants, and mostly spending time with her granddaughter, who she affectionately called "Boopy". She will be truly missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Adam Reeves of Sweetwater, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Buddy Warren of Sweetwater, Texas; granddaughter, Brynli Warren; mother, Belinda McCartney of Hamlin, Texas; sister, Gayla Martin & husband Jay of Hamlin, Texas; brother, David Bailey and wife Barbara of Snyder, Texas; half-brother, Jimmy Don Bailey of Sweetwater, Texas; step-brother, Britt Smith and wife Julie of Sweetwater, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee Bailey; step-mother, Delaine Bailey, and son, Nicholas "Nick" Walker.
Pallbearers will be Tylan Davis, Justin Shaw, Kendall Rea, Devin Davis, Dwayne Lewis, and Domingo Rangel.
