Christopher Robb

I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to Nancy - sister, friend and in recent years the devoted carer of Karen. Also, to Karen´s "many cousins" on the loss of their loved one.
My name is Christopher Robb and am proud to say I am one of those cousins - a 5th cousin in Australia. We cousins became acquainted via the internet as a result of my wonderful discovery of Helen White (nee Robb) in Co Down, Northern Ireland. Helen had long known and corresponded with Karen and Nancy, her 2nd cousins, once removed. This interchange had Karen and Nancy contact my wife and I in October 2007 on their visit "down under". We subsequently managed a wonderful 48 hours together. It involved a visit to my parents Frank and Marie Robb on the way to Wangaratta via Yea and Mansfield in Victoria. This north-east region is where my great great grandparents eventually settled and farmed in the 1860´s after arriving in Melbourne in 1853 from Co Down.
Leaving Wangaratta, we farewelled these lovely cousins with a beautiful lunch at the Samson Hill Winery, Kangaroo Ground overlooking the Melbourne skyline. We were joined by my parents - Frank and Marie Robb - so a joyous "Robb reunion". We maintained a lovely communication and were then fortunate enough to visit Karen and Nancy in Baltimore in 2012.
The kinship definitely transcended both distance and time. A most serendipitous meeting.
R.I.P. Karen

Nancy, I pray for your comfort in this time of grief. The photo of you and Karen with your neighbors is poignant for me, with my dear departed Jim and Barbara. Such happy memories of time there with you all.

Karen and Nancy were my next door neighbors in Weston in Owings Mills. Karen was the most kindest, caring and giving neighbor, always looking out for her neighbors. She will be missed. My prayers and condolences to Nancy and her family and friends!

While she was at the university of Chicago, she visited us in Clarendon Hills. My dad, her uncle, called her his favorite niece. She was a lovely, kind and generous cousin.
