Karen was born on July 8, 1950, in Massena to the late Melvin and Eileen (Brothers) French. She attended Massena schools and married her soul mate, Allen F. Rush on August 23, 1969, at the Church of The Sacred Heart. They soon began their family.
She was employed with First Student in Lisbon, NY as a bus monitor for retiring after years of service.
Karen is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Allen and their children Allen and Brenda Rush of Massena, Melvin and Becky of Massena along with her grandchildren Ashley Rush and companion Todd Richards of Brasher Falls, NY, Christie Rush and Cody White of Mexico, NY, Korreen Rush and companion Austin Baker of Constable, NY and Jonathan Rush and companion Lilah Daniell of Massena, NY. Karen is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Kiara, Aerith, Mylah, and Nathaniel. She is also survived by her brother Bruce and Kathy French of Indiana along with nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Melvin and Eileen French, Karen was also predeceased by her husband's parents, Carl and Evelyn Rush, along with a brother Gary French and sister in-law Sussie French.
In her past time, Karen enjoyed watching cooking shows and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
