Karen Mary Schaefer

Karen Mary Schaefer, 65, of Fort Collins, Colorado, Continued on to her next life on November 9, 2025, in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was born on July 16, 1960, in Fukuoka, Japan, to parents Ronald Schaefer and Sheila Mary Schaefer.
Karen was a stay-at-home mother and grandmother. Her love and passion were family. She would open her home to any and everyone. She would feed and cloth anyone that needed that throughout her life. She loved playing with her grand babies and attending their sporting events.
She is survived by her children; Freddie Salazar, Sonya Salazar (Johnny Hoff) and CJ Schaefer. Her Grandchildren: Analicia Hernandez Schaefer (Rudy Dominguez), Star Hernandez Schaefer (Rudy Montes), Jamall Hernandez Schaefer, Niya Hernandez Schaefer, Nina Salazar, Kiara Diaz, Haley Sprinkle, and Ja'Nae Williams (Alexander Barrett). Her Great Grandchildren: Rudy Isiah Dominguez Jr, Avyanna Imani Dominguez, Birdie Faye Sprinkle, Asaiah Barrett, Adalena Barrett, and Alexander Barrett. Her brother Lee Schaefer (Kathlenn Schaefer).
She is preceded in death by her parents Ronald Schaefer and Sheila Mary Schaefer, her brother Dale Schaefer, and her beloved best friend June Lewis.

A celebration of life will be held November 15th 2025 1:00PM at 1275 58th Ave in Greeley, CO 80634. Use the side door on the left side of the building. We will be doing a potluck. Everyone is welcome to bring something if they would like.
