Karen Souers Obituary
Karen was born on December 9, 1942, in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Allen Bickel and Coral "Eloise" (Horrell) Bickel. She graduated from Clear Creek High School with the class of 1960. She then went on to attend Beauty College. Karen married the love of her life Jerry L. Souers on May 20, 1989, in Huntington, IN; he preceded her in death on December 23, 2022. She retired from Triad-Utrad after many years of service. Karen enjoyed spending time with family especially the grandkids and great grandkids, being at their lake cottage at Irish Lake, and going to lunches with friends.
Survivors include her Son, Lyle (Laura) Juillerat of Huntington, IN; Two Daughters, Lori (Jim) Satchwill of Huntington, IN, Anne (Jeff) Kramer of Huntington, IN; Three Stepdaughters, Rose (Tom) Wall of Huntington, IN, Lisa K. Snider of Warren, IN, Kathleen (Donald) McLean of NC; Stepson, Ed Souers of Huntington, IN; Step Son-In-Law, Ron Dick of Fort Wayne, IN; Eighteen Grandchildren; Thirty-Three Great Grandchildren with one more on the way; Brother, Kent A. Bickel; Sister, Barbara A. Patterson. She is preceded in death by her Father, Allen A. Bickel, Mother, Coral Eloise Bickel, Husband, Jerry L. Souers, Stepdaughter, Joni Dick, Step Son-In-Law, Fayne Snider, Brother-in-law, Douglas Patterson and Sister-in-Law, Marsha Bickel.
There will be no services at this time. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery with her husband, Jerry "Jess" Souers.
