Karen Sue Withem

Karen S Withem, 76, passed away on June 1, 2025 at Mercy Hospital. Services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Brandt Funeral Home in Dallas Center, Iowa. Luncheon will be held after services at the American Legion Hall in Minburn, Iowa. Burial at the Elmwood Cemetery near Minburn, IA at a later date.
Family gatherings meant the most to her and she was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved her husband Jeff and said all the time that he was so good to her. He treated her like a queen that she deserved. Karen loved to socialize with friends over margaritas or attending the Figure 8 races with her daughter. She had a strong work ethic that she passed on to her kids (thanks Mom). There are not enough words to express how great she was and her passing has left a hole in many hearts.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Withem of Minburn; her son, Todd Haynes of Yale; her daughter, Nichole (Perry) Winkleblack of Minburn; three grandchildren, Natalie Haynes, Logan Haynes and Andy Winkleblack.
