Karey G. Henderson, 76, of Kingston, died Saturday, November 15, 2025 in his home. He was born September 12, 1949 to Eugene and Leona (Albertson) Henderson.
Karey was a 1967 graduate of Kingston High School. He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Karey returned to his hometown of Kingston in 2017, where he was a member of the Kingston Community Church and the Kingston Historical Society. Karey enjoyed attending Kingston High School basketball games. He was also fond of riding with farmers in their combines, school and family reunions, politics, playing euchre, and a good laugh. Karey had various health issues for the last few years, but he always maintained a positive, upbeat, and grateful attitude.
Karey is survived by his sister, Pam Furlong; brothers: Ed Henderson, Lyall (Val) Henderson; nephews: Kenneth Furlong, Randy Furlong, Grant (Lauren) Henderson; niece, Erin (Mike) Szczegielniak. He is preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Derek Furlong; niece, Christine Quynh’huong Tran.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025 in Kingston Community Church with Pastor Matt Osborne officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Kingston Fire and Rescue or Kingston Community Church.
