Kari Rodgers Urbowicz, 96, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025.
Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Marion Bradley Rodgers and William Livingston Rodgers. She grew up in San Diego, California, and Bronxville, New York.
She was the beloved wife of William J. Urbowicz for 57 years. Kari and Bill married in 1954 and raised their four children in Armonk, New York. They were loyal friends to their many Armonk neighbors and hosted and attended many parties during their 33 years there. Kari had many more friends through her work at the Byram Hills school district.
Kari’s interests included tennis, bowling, bridge, and embroidery. She and Bill retired to Sarasota, Florida, and traveled extensively, enjoying cruises around the world.
Kari is predeceased by her husband, Bill, and their son, Tom. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Bill and Sue, Michael and Kathy, Kari and Dave; her grandchildren Maggie, Kate, Christine, Elizabeth, Kari, Henry, George, Will, Sammy; and her great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Dementia Society of America (Dementia Society, Inc.).
