Karin Devine Obituary

Karin SuAnne Devine, 71, of Cement City, MI, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, very unexpectedly at Henry Ford Hospital.

She was born on April 18, 1954, in Jackson, MI, to Harold and Thelma (Adams) Williams. Karin was married to the love of her life, John Devine, on December 16, 1976, at their home in Cement City, MI. They had 48 wonderful years together.

Karin loved her family and spending time with them. She was lovingly known as "Mammy" to many. Karin was always up for an adventure. She loved to go places, especially if her grandkids were going. Karin loved going on shopping trips, as she was an avid shopper. She also loved going to the beach with her family. Karin was a very loving person and would stop whatever she was doing to help others. She enjoyed attending her grandkid's school functions when they were in school. Karin enjoyed spending time at her pool or hanging riverside at her daughter's house.

Mammy will be really missed by all that knew her. She was a one-of-a-kind person. She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Leroy) Jaycox; her son, J.D; 3 grandchildren, riley, Izzie and Mic; and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband, John Devine; her parents, Harry and Thelma Williams; and all of her siblings.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Clarklake Golf Course. Please leave a message of comfort for Karin's family or sign her guestbook at www.EinederFuneralHomes.com.

I´m sad to hear of Karin´s passing and my prayers go out to her family.
We had many memories from school, and even tho that was long ago, they still bring a smile to my heart.
After graduation we went our separate ways, as our families quickly grew and time seemed to go by faster and faster. But our friendship remained true, nonetheless, and Karin will be missed.

I remember all the vacations we used to take with our families. Always camping and sometimes roughing it, really roughing it. Us girls didn´t t like that at all. My heart goes out to you Amy and JD, it is so tough to go through so much as you both have lost so much. I´m here if you ever want to talk. Your mom was the best, she thought the world of you both. I will miss her happy go lucky attitude and her cute little laugh. May God watch over your family´s. Love to you all, and prayers for you all. Cousin Connie

I had the pleasure of knowing your mom for a short period of time. Her loving energy, laughter and bright smile stands out to me. I could feel how much she loves you all. Even for me, not being part of your blood family, she was always so sweet and welcoming and made us feel like family. My heart is with all if you.
