Dear Karin, I was so sorry to read the news of your Mom. I remember having several delightful conversations with her, probably at some of Dirk's parties. She left a wonderful legacy in her daughter. I hope you remember us, you did our property with Dirk up in Ashland. We still love our ponds and think of you often. Our condolences to you and your family. Sincerely, Carol & Bob Manno

As the dogs residing at the Shelter at Town Hall, we thank you for coming by to see us. We always enjoyed your company. Thanks to your daughters, Karin & Elisa, for bringing you to see us at the shelter. We love our friends, and you were one of the best. You worked hard to raise money for our needs, and we appreciated it. We will miss you!

We were at the ranch when the pond was being dug and enjoyed our stay so much. Karin was the soul of hospitality and wonderful company. Al even deep fried a turkey on the porch! We loved having the gang at our home in CT too. Karin will be missed!

Wheat and I were saddened by the news of Karin's passing. As a member of S.A.V.E. she added so much warmth to our fundraising efforts and gatherings. Wheat and I will both miss her, and will be forever grateful to her contributions to our efforts. Our hearts go our to her two daughters, who also work with us for the shelter dogs of Shandaken. We will never forget your Mom.

What a beautiful and accurate tribute to Karin. I remember taking short walks with Karin and on one of those walks we talked about things in life we had not yet done and would still like to do. One thing that she told me she always wanted to do was learn to play piano. My instrument of choice was the violin. We laughed at the thought of what we would sound like playing together. May you rest in the embrace of our Lord for eternity, Karin.
