I work in Admitting at Methodist Hospital. When Karin came in I would always make her feel good. I enjoyed taking with her. She was very wise and compassionate. I will miss her deeply. Lori Heinz (Registrar)

Karin was a tireless volunteer in Rotary and although we are in different clubs we worked on several projects together. She was calm, capable, caring and got things done. She was very special and I know you will miss her greatly.

When I think of Dr. Treiber, all I can say is that she was an angel sent by God to this earth who touched so many people. She was more interested in other's welfare than her own. She always had the best smile and positive attitude even when she knew her days were counted. She has the best character and she focused on building relationship with God and others. She told me that “our life is what our thoughts make it”. Her life goal was to connect everyone in this world with a higher power. She lived a simple life serving others in her community to make a difference in this world. I am sure she will be busy organizing many projects in heaven now.

Karin's departure leaves a huge vacuum in our lives given the pillar of support she was to us. No words can capture in its entirety the very kind, generous, understanding, gifted, and multitalented person she was. Karin Treiber was God's gift to humanity, especially those in need. May you rest dear friend. How we will miss you.

Dear Karin was inteligent, warm and gracious; and when she talked about her God and the Blessed Mother she spoke with such reverence it was almost in hushed tones. Walter and I said a rosary for Karin together the day she died. I can envision her joy as she cheers us all on.

We will miss her and pray for Bob, Paul, David and family.

This news stunned me. Family and friends of Karin have my heartfelt sympathy. Karin volunteered as a tutor with Minneapolis Adult Education, helping adult immigrants learn English. She was outstanding in this role, due to her skills and personality. Karin was also one of the finest, gracious, most stimulating people I have met. I am sorry for her suffering and yours. I am also happy that she had a happy, fulfilling life.
