Karl Omer Lenhart, 64, of Terre Haute passed away on August 19th, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born on August 8th 1959 in Clinton, Indiana to Omer S. And Dorthy Lenhart. Karl was a loving Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother & Uncle. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Robin Lenhart; Son Michael Lenhart of Clinton; Daughters Karen (Trent) Lenhart of Danville and Marissa (John) Snyder of Terre Haute; Grandchildren, Haley Lenhart, Cory Lenhart, Kagan Scales, Rigley Irby & Hudson Snyder; Brothers Jim (Pauline) Lenhart & Frank Lenhart; Nieces and Nephews, Brian (Beech) Lenhart, Christy (Brian) Uselman, John Lenhart, Cora Franklin, Omer (Regina & Peyton) Lenhart. Angel (Justin) Joseph, Cindy (Austin) Toneff, Frank (Chrystal) Lenhart, Steve (Kayla) Lenhart, Kevin (Chelsey) Lenhart. Dorothy Byrans, Donna Dorsett, Lee Evitt, Ewin Williams Jr, Brenda Tucker, & Amanda Campbell. And many great nieces and nephews. Karl was proceeded in death by his Grandparents & Parents; Sisters Cindy Lenhart & Brenda Johnson; Brothers Billy Joe & Perry Lenhart; Sisters in law Brenda Fay, and Betty Lenhart; Niece Joyce Williams, Nephew Thomas Lenhart; His cat of 18 years, Slick Lenhart. Karl was a very hard working & dedicated man. He retired from Futurex Industry Inc. in June of 2019. Karl was an avid collector of Coca Cola memorabilia, antique bottles, and old coins. He loved growing different types of tomatoes, peppers and wildflowers. Karl enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, mushroom hunting & creek walking. He jumped at the opportunity for a joke to make you smile. He especially loved spending time with his family. Karl will be greatly missed by so many. Visitation for Karl will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home on Friday, August 25 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. with services starting at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
