Karla M. Pitts

Karla M. Pitts, 46, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016.  She was born on November 3, 1969 in Belvidere, IL.  Karla was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She was employed as a cake decorator at the Dairy Queen in Montgomery for the past 18 years.  Karla loved her family, flowers and animals. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Darron K. Pitts; her daughter, Shelby (Chad Peterson) Pitts; her mother, Kathleen Schneider; her father, Wayne (Elaine) Hill; her sister, Lori (Jim) Ross; her brothers, Dave Hill and Matt (Jill) Flowers; her mother and father-in-law, Juanita (Thomas) Pitts; her brother-in-law, Tommy (Melissa) Pitts; her sister-in-law, Diane (Steve) Breedlove and her nephews, Tyler Pitts, Tanner (Jessica) Pitts, Trevor Pitts, Brandon (Taylor) Breedlove, Mason (Brooke) Flowers and Nicholas Ross. Karla was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Pitts; her step-father, Marvin Schneider and her german shepherd, Panzer. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 4-9 P.M. at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora, IL.  Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11 A.M. at The Healy Chapel, Aurora.  Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park.  Memorials may be directed to New Hope Baptist Church, 1203 S.
