He is survived by two children; Lisa and Dillon, and their spouses; three grandchildren; four siblings; and many friends. Karlan entered into rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. Service will be held at FRENCH-Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 21, 2022.
