Karson Randy Silveira

Karson Randy Silveira, age 12, passed away in Boston after a sudden illness with his loving family by his side.
Born in Providence, RI, Karson was the beloved son of Vanessa (Silveira) Olmeda and Jose Olmeda, Sr. of Taunton.
Karson leaves three beloved sisters; Haley Flavin of Taunton, Jaylynn Olmeda of FL and Lilliana Olmeda of Taunton, and a loving brother Jose Olmeda, Jr. of Brockton.
Karson was the cherished grandson of Lori Caron Silveira of Rehoboth and Narragansett, Stephen Farrell, Carmen Rodriguez of Wilson, NC and Jose Olmeda of Philadelphia, PA and grandson of the late Randall P. Silveira.
Karson had special relationships with his uncle and Godfather Drew Silveira of Rehoboth and his "auntie" and Godmother Heather Correia of Taunton. He was also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Karson was educated in Rehoboth and Taunton Public Schools and was currently a sixth grader at Benjamin Friedman Middle School in Taunton. He was happiest spending time with his family, but he also loved swimming, electronics, Avatar and harry Potter movies and books, he loved the beach and traveling. His adventures included Montana, many trips to Disney World and weekends in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.
Karson loved the musical artist "JVKE" and could deliver a beautiful rendition of JVKE's best-known song "Golden Hour".
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4 to 7pm
in the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) Taunton.
Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
His burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to; Boston Children's Hospital in Karson's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
