My heart hurts. Karyn and I have been friends since 2nd grade. Weaving in and out of eachothers lives, yet never missing a birthday ( one of our biggest fights was over that, and i admit Karyn was right, surprise surprise) Some of my favorite childhood and young adult memories were with Karyn. To many to recap, plus her memory was always impeccable with those details, mine not so much. So many shared life experiences; camp, cheerleading, being with eachothers families (boating and timeshares), doing homework together, dealing with puberty, many firsts, many sleepovers, and many adventures!
Our bond never faded, no matter how much time or space came between us, we connected as adults as well as we did as kids. I feel so at peace with that. We'd pick up so real, raw and authentically like no time had passed. Karyn was fierce and inspiring, she was compassionate and spunky. She never lost her sense of humor through it all. From ups and downs, Karyn was my longest friend and she will be dearly missed. She left a beautuful imprint on the world. My prayers and heart go out to Gloria, Jerry, Amy, Deb, Jodi, Ashley, Joshua and Jeffrey and all those who've been blessed by her presence in their lives. Forever in our hearts Kar,
Love, Nicki

Karyn was always like a third daughter to me and second sister to Carrie. Growing up Carrie and Karyn were inseparable from the time they were 3 years old in preschool. Always at either my house in Cheshire or her mom´s. They shared many wonderful years together and she will be missed by all of us. We love you Lehrmano.

Heartbroken to have lost my best friend of 48 years. Karyn was my rock through every phase of my life and I cherish every moment and memory we shared, from childhood skits singing the "Greatest American Hero"and "Let´s Go to the Hop" to standing beside her at her wedding and my last memory of giving her "the best foot massage ever." Karyn´s strength and resilience, compassion and humor will be forever reflected in the legacy she has left with her children and those closest to her. Rest well my dear friend. I love you always and forever.
