Decatur - Kasey Michelle Cloud, 27 years old, of
Decatur, IL, passed away on November 21, 2023, due to a fatal car accident driving out of state to be with family on Thanksgiving.
Kasey was born in
Decatur, Illinois at Decatur Memorial Hospital on December 13, 1995. She graduated from MacArthur High School and continued on to receive a CNA license working in the medical field.
Kacey was engaged to Ricky Lee Dunn and had been together happily for ten years.
Kasey worked as a CNA for the states of Missouri and Illinois for over six years. She loved working and helping people, so she figured, why not get the best of both worlds. She loved to be outdoors and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with friends and having fun, but most importantly she loved spending time with her family.
Kasey is survived by her fiancé, Ricky L. Dunn. Loving Father Andy R. Cloud, Two Loving Mothers: Tonya R. and Charity H., Caring Brothers: Trevor Cloud, Andrew Cloud, James Hawkins Jr, John Hawkins, Justin Reynolds, Robbie Reynolds, Austin Croney, Connor Cloud, and Jessie White. Compassionate Sisters: Emily Cloud, Kayla Cloud, and Skyla Cloud. Kasey is the beloved mother of Novie Lee Dunn, Dakota James Dunn, and Abby Lee Dunn. Her nephews are Daniel Cloud, Peyton Croney and Aiden Croney. Her nieces are Silveya Cloud and Dani Reynolds.
Kasey was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jamie Hawkins, and her son Derek Richard Dunn.
Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2023, from 1pm until the service time of 2pm at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kasey Michelle Cloud Memorial Fund.
