Mrs. Kate Robertson Woods age 91 of Grove Oak passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her residence.

Kate Robertson Woods passed away Saturday January 31, 2026, at her residence. Kate was born November 4, 1934, in Grove Oak, Alabama to Grady and Maggie Robertson. In Kate's early years, she moved to Chattanooga, TN where she lived for many years. In recent years Kate returned to Grove Oak to be near family. Kate is survived by her siblings: sisters Mildred Stanfield, Melba Rogers and brother Lanny Robertson (Leesha Perrin). Several nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her Husband Ed Woods, Son Stanley Wade Light, Parents, Grady and Maggie Robertson, Sister and Brother, Glenda Robertson Oliver and Wendell Robertson. Brothers and Sister-in-law, Sydney Stanfield, H.D. Rogers and Jeanette Robertson. Visitation February 2nd 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral 10:30 a.m. February 3rd. Tuesday.
