Katharine Ann Desellier

Katharine Ann (Reid) Desellier of Pembroke, MA passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025 in her home at the age of 76 years young. Katharine was born at South Shore Hospital on October 22, 1949, and was a graduate of Weymouth High School class of 1967.

Kathy was a longtime resident of Pembroke, MA and worked in several local community service organizations, which included the Pembroke School System, Pembroke Recreation Commission, and the Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover, MA. Her passion for community service allowed her to touch the lives of many of her fellow community members which brought a great sense of pride and joy to her life. She spent her later years enjoying time with her family and the fellowship of her friends in the Kilcommons community where they enjoyed frequent card
games, going to bingo, and bible study together.

Kathy is survived by her son Rodney "Mike" Ord formerly of Pembroke, MA and his wife Marla, daughter Abby, and son Michael who reside in Elkridge, MD; her daughter Suzanne Desellier- Spadea and her husband Jim Spadea of West Bridgewater, MA; sister Cheryl A. Hogan and her husband Kenneth J. Hogan of Greer, SC and their son Kevin E. Hogan of Inman SC, all formerly of MA; brother Edmund K. Lutes Jr. of Holbrook, MA; sister-in-law Evelyn Sue M. (Puleo) Miller-Reid of Braintree, MA; and former husband Rodney M. Ord Jr. of Marshfield, MA. She was also survived by several other nieces, nephews and extended family members whom all loved her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father John W. Reid formerly of MS; mother Helen E. (Clark) Lutes and stepfather Edmund K. Lutes Sr., both formerly of MA; brothers John W. Reid formerly of Braintree, MA and Thomas L. Reid formerly of Greenville, SC; and former husband David C. Desellier formerly of Pembroke, MA.

A service and celebration of life for Kathy will be held on Saturday, November 29th, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 429 Monponsett St, Hanson, MA 02341, with refreshments and fellowship with the family to follow.
