Katherine Oletta Autry

FORT WORTH -- Katherine Autry, 86, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Service: 10 a.m. Friday, November 27th at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 25th at Laurel Land Funeral Home Fort Worth. Katherine was born Feb. 21, 1923, in Armstrong, Okla., to Edgar and Hazel Russell. She loved cooking, flowers, dogs and jewelry, particularly turquoise. She never met a stranger. She loved to sit and visit. She also loved kids, especially her grandkids. She worked at the Fort Worth Stock Show for 43 years with her husband, M.P. Autry. For four generations, her family ran MP & KD Horn & Leather Shop. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.P. Autry; her parents; and three brothers. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survivors: Daughter, Patsy Miller and husband, Kenneth; brother, Billy Russell and wife, Joyce; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Alvis Russell, Ruth Ann Russell and Alta Faye Russell.
