Katherine Sprague Dexter's homegoing is a great loss to the Friends of Frederick Douglass Family. She worked from a young woman with Dr. Juanita Pitts to enhance the Douglass legacy in Rochester and over the past decade to educate about the relationship to her Sprague family, as Douglass daughter married Nathan Sprague. She gave expert presentation
especially on her distant cousin the accomplished Fredericka Douglass Sprague, Nathan's daughter. Our hearts go out to her loving family Isaac, Rene, Jacqueline, Margaret and all the wonderful family members. The bright light of her smile, "can do" spirit and her kindness we so enjoyed remain a blessing to our memories. Our sincere condolences.

So sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful friend to many and will never be forgotten. I send my condolences to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace with God by her side.
