Nancy and I were privileged to have been present for the wonderful memorial service for Katie and to have been included in the family gatherings before and after. Now we will hold John and his kids in our hearts and thoughts as they put their lives back together and continue as Katie would have wanted.

To the Homan family, I was so sorry to hear of Kate's passing. It was such a blessing to have known and worked with her. I know she will be missed by her family and all of the people that she touched in her life.

John & family - Our deepest sympathies to you in this time of sorrow. Kate obviously touched many lives in many ways and will be dearly missed, but the memories of her strength and courage will keep her spirit alive. Eternal be her memory...

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Kate from Kersey Creek. Leah and Gavin were in Miss Stoke's class together and Kate was always such a big help with class activities and always such a nice person. Our prayers are with your family.

I am so sorry for your loss of a wonderful sweet woman. I knew Katie when I worked with her at the Senate in Albany, NY. We spent a lot of time together at work & social gatherings outside of work. Your family is in my prayers.

Kate will be missed by so many. She was so sweet and such an inspiration. I enjoyed getting to know her at church and when Emma and Abby played Fall softball together. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you John and the children.

I'm so sorry for your loss; I will miss Kate so much. She was a fabulous person and I am so glad i got to call her a friend. I hope that she is with the angels and can look down over her babies and they will know. Please know what a special and kind person Kate was and how she will always be remembered for her unique and wonderful compassion for everyone she loved.

My thoughts and prayers have been with Kate and her family throughout her battles with cancer and remain with her family now. Kate was an inspiration to so many people with her unwavering faith and positive attitude while facing adversity. She was such a care giver, helping her children and family deal with her cancer, while remaining hopeful and focusing on the many people who exhibited kindness and compassion throughout her struggle. I pray that God will bestow upon each of you His peace and comfort now and always.
